- Harvest ripened fruits and vegetables from your garden.
- Take out any spent vegetable or annual plants from your garden and dispose of them.
- Clean up fallen fruits, twigs, and leaves around your landscape.
- Apply a high Nitrogen fertilizer to your lawn if needed.
- Dig up any non hardy bulbs (like dahlias or cannas) and store them in a cool dry place.
- Plant spring blooming bulbs later in the month.
- Bring your houseplants and tropical plants back indoors to overwinter.
