Tips on Pumpkin Selection

• Inspect your pumpkin for any damage, make sure there aren't any soft and mushy spots
• Make sure the stem is solid and firmly attached to your pumpkin. Don't lift the pumpkin by the stem, just ensure it is secure. It should not be shriveled.
• For Jack-o-Lanterns, look for non-hard shell pumpkins, they will be easier to carve.
